Air India Check in – Smooth Process for Smooth Travel


If you have to travel in the country by Air India, you have to check in at the airport counter two hours prior to the scheduled flight departure. The passengers who are traveling from Jammu, Srinagar and Leh are not allowed to carry any hand baggage. They are expected to arrive at the airport two hours before the departure. For the Air India Check in, the security staff would check your baggage weight and if it is beyond the expected weight then they charge you extra.

Since extra security measure have been taken for the baggage, if found to be more than 15 kg, then a fee of Rs.200-250 is charged. International passengers are expected to report three to one hour before the flight departure. These time limits are set in such a way as to allow the passengers to undergo all the required formalities from check in to boarding the plane. Passengers are thoroughly checked and verified before their journey. Due to many incidents taking place today, the airlines authority clearly check each and every passenger before boarding. They are responsible for everything.

New Delhi Air India Passengers can now avail the facility of Air India Check in service at Dhaula Kuan Metro station on Airport Express Line. Passengers need to check in 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers can collect their boarding passes and get security checked at the airport without any hassles. If the flier wants, he/she can collect the boarding pass maximum 6 hours prior to the flight.
